The 1st through 6th graders at Sodegaura-Higashi Elementary School and Sodegaura-Nishi Elementary School enjoy playing baseball every weekend. But any elementary school student in Narashino-city can participate. Join us for some baseball fun!
Beginners, preschoolers, boys and girls, even kids who don’t know anything about baseball can enjoy learning from the ground up♪ In the beginning, everyone is a beginner.
Observation and trial participation are always welcome. Several coaches and club members speak English.
You can join on a trial participation if you are unsure about joining the club.

Sodegaura Boys is a youth baseball team with a long history, founded in 1968 and based at Sodegaura-Higashi Elementary School in Narashino-city, Chiba Prefecture.
The members of the team are children from Sodegaura-Higashi Elementary School and Sodegaura-Nishi Elementary School. But any elementary school student in Narashino-city can participate.
The team is committed to helping the children grow not only in baseball skills, but also in daily greetings, courtesy, and consideration, with the cooperation of their coaches and parents.

Dear Parents and Guardians

Unlike other sports, baseball is complicated in what it does (hitting, catching, throwing, and running) and in its rules. For this reason, it is also the sport in which children’s growth is most noticeable.
It is also a good stimulus for children in terms of group behavior and courtesy, since they can interact with children of other grades and many adults with whom they do not normally have contact.
In general, it is said that the nervous system related to athletic ability grows to 80% of its full potential by the age of 5 and almost 100% by the age of 12.
If you want your child to play a sport, but are not sure what is best for him or her, please visit us for a tour and practice session!
